everything you mention is already reasonably included in Viebrockhaus (underfloor heating, heat pump, decent flooring, tiles, clinker etc...) of course you can choose higher quality tiles for an extra charge, but I went through the entire sampling catalog and ended up at 10k... since you will probably choose a bit more on site, I calculated 15k... plus another 30k for changes to the floor plan etc (this is usually free if it’s just about shifting walls)... plus another 15k for electrical extras (many Viebrockhaus builders say the standard is almost enough and estimate 1000-5000 euros here)... I really don’t feel like I’m budgeting too tightly here. What kind of houses are you all building, if 800,000 euros are not enough?

That is not correct. Viebrockhaus is a general contractor like any other. Many laypeople cannot read the construction specifications. They do not see what is NOT stated there. But it seems to me that you know all this better and we don’t know what we’re talking about ;) :P

No idea what I might have done to you. Do I really seem that resistant to advice to you all? Or just to you? I’m not really here to discuss Viebrockhaus or my finances. But okay, for a 160k plot of land, I’ll probably need 1.2 million for a 160 sqm house – or what do you think would be realistic here? Please change my list specifically and constructively, instead of constantly just annoying me – simply saying “that’s not enough” isn’t very helpful either. And again: I won’t run out of money when building the house. Still want a rough estimate. If mine is wrong, then just tell me what you would calculate in my case?

Nothing. Like others, I gave you well-intentioned advice.

Yep.
When someone points out that your "calculation" is incomplete and essential parts are missing, advises you to read and inform yourself in the forum, and you basically say, "no, it's correct, don't tell me otherwise," "Viebrockhaus has all that included," then THAT is resistance to advice.

No one says that.
Others and I have written enough about construction costs etc. in the appropriate subforum. Most of it is even pinned - practically served on a silver platter.
You just have to read it.

You are inventing sentences... I never wrote "no, that’s right, don’t tell me otherwise" - and I also did not say that Viebrockhaus "had all that included" - it simply does not say that. I asked (!): "Do you really think that 600k is not enough for house and garden?" - because it seemed unlikely to me...

I also said, if I’m wrong, I gladly accept that. Viebrockhaus has more in the base price than many others, but of course my breakdown might be faulty. I also said that I still have money in reserve.

From you, on the other hand, came remarks like...

"...your what-does-the-world-cost attitude",
or "...then you won’t have any money left for earthworks, even before the first shovel",
or "You think you know everything better" (how do you even come up with that??)...
or "It’s best done on graph paper"... without arguments I wouldn’t know what speaks against the PC!? I’m happy to be convinced, but then I would like to understand why you think that is better?

No idea, maybe we just don’t get along. Happens.

I like the attitude. I don’t spend everything I have but carefully consider what it’s really worth to me, which is pretty good.
However, it doesn’t help much at this point. Talk to a [GU] or architect about what you want and have them make offers with the note that they should be as complete as possible. You can also sample everything before signing, it just takes longer... and is a matter of negotiation. You want to build rather high-quality anyway, otherwise you wouldn’t have mentioned [Viebrockhaus]. At least have initial talks with two others and get the best out of it. Doing your own preliminary planning/idea collection doesn’t hurt either.
