They should actually be included in the 60k miscellaneous, but as I said, that’s not really what we’re talking about now...You forgot the incidental construction costs.
I don’t need living space quality for that. 2.15 m heated height is enough. And the basement for 100 sqm with living space quality (home theater) will also cost more than 1000/sqm.
Yeah, true... but of course you roughly calculate in your head anyway. But I think you’re pushing a bit too far ahead now. It’s only about the question whether the plot matches your house wishes.
No Bat-Cave, you say? ;)An underground garage needs a ramp. I don’t see one on this plot.
Interesting idea... the house also comes with a eaves entrance – certainly an option to test around.5.50 m would of course be enough. Personally one wants more. I would kink the ground floor sideways for the parking spaces like e.g. the E600 has in front.
As I said, just a first idea... I have to start somewhere and probably no one – who is building their first house in their life – has drawn their floor plan right away... I have to test the limits and learn what works and what doesn’t – that’s why I’m here ;) And as for the utility room in the west... mirroring the floor plan should be no problem...In my opinion, the house doesn’t fit the plot: too wide and has an ugly long corridor that you don’t like anyway. You don’t have to plan the utility room (or storage space) on the nice west side now either.
Sure... but a single garage + parking space in front would at least be an option. Just wanted to say there would be more parking options nearby. Of course no one wants to park two cars one behind the other all the time. The guests... if 2 parking spaces are required, that means on the plot.
Architect is definitely an idea... I have to get informed. It’s always the same here: a few people in the circle of acquaintances had good experiences with Viebrockhaus – so you naturally take a look at what’s in their catalog. No question that there are other options and these have to be examined.Think about whether you want to build with a general contractor or an architect. I see an architect here. Especially when a plot has quirks and you can afford it, you should have an individual solution with details planned.
Yeah, me too... the set of requirements is currently “only” stuck on the width of the plot... if I make the house half a meter narrower, 6 meters should really be enough. It’s still not pure luxury, but what can you do... if I’ve learned one thing: you can’t have everything. The plot where everything fits does not exist here – or it costs four times as much. There’s still the option not to take THIS plot – but then that probably means waiting a few years and I’m not in the mood for that right now... especially since the plot that comes eventually will also have its problems. 18x32 meters now shouldn’t be the end of the world. We’ll see...Then the house has to be narrower or you have to park precisely or coordinate the shed passage with the middle alley accordingly. Overall, the set of requirements still smells strongly of budget cutting to me.
