Install vinyl flooring yourself

so back then I was told something similar, in direct sunlight which is usually in the living-dining area, you should not install vinyl floating because it expands too much and bulges up at the ends, I once left a plank in the sun as a test and it actually bulged, that's why I decided on glued vinyl, so far I have had no problems with it

So we have installed Parador vinyl throughout the entire upper floor, also in every room with floor-to-ceiling windows. The floor has hardly warmed up in recent weeks and there are no signs of bulging or significant expansion. It still lies perfectly flat.

With floor-to-ceiling windows and a southern orientation, always be careful. From my experience, some manufacturers only allow a floor temperature of up to 28 degrees for vinyl floors to be installed floating.

This can lead to problems. Therefore, always maintain proper edge distances.

We also have laminate planks with vinyl surface and are very satisfied so far.
