Also consider the height of transition and finishing profiles. Finishing profiles, for example for the transition to tile flooring, add another 1-2mm.

How did you then design the expansion joints?

With silicone

I'm curious to see how it will look in a few years. But then you just have to renew the joint. I wouldn't have been able to find any suitable silicone color for our floor coverings.

There are so many colors with that silicone, I can't imagine you not finding anything there?

But I also used very high-quality alcohol-crosslinked silicone.
