Install vinyl flooring yourself

It will be a basement living area that is supposed to exude a certain coziness. It will probably be a pleasant warm tile....possibly even in wood look, which I have always been opposed to.

How about "Bio" vinyl? It is available, for example, as Purline Bio flooring from Wineo. It has already been recommended to us and we have a sample at home that does not smell like plastic at all. According to the manufacturer, it contains oils and other natural raw materials. (But also a bit of plastic, it can't be completely without)

Because of the design, we have now decided on a "normal" vinyl floor from Wineo for the kitchen. The sample we have at home does not have any odor either. In contrast, we had samples of vinyl floors from other manufacturers at home that smelled strongly of plastic and very unhealthy on the underside.

With us, the floor does not smell like plastic. However, it is still growing at the kitchen terrace door. Therefore, I will visit the dealer tomorrow.

The floor will be inspected. We may then know as much as we do today, or maybe even more. Meanwhile, we can sell vinyl ourselves. The floor keeps growing and growing and growing.... The surrounding area had to be reworked multiple times.

Is it growing? I can't imagine that at all right now... miraculous multiplication? So vinyl is out for us... then I'd rather have an old wood-look tile in the basement than smelly growing vinyl
