Since Thursday, the manufacturer has not responded.

Meanwhile, the edges in the kitchen area are sticking up and the floor creaks every time it is stepped on.
Today it is not exactly warm either, and accordingly, the floor is also swelling due to the underfloor heating.

Yesterday we were fortunate to meet a representative of the company Classen in the business premises of our dealer. The young man immediately took on our case! Unfortunately, Massivhaus Mittelrhein had not managed until yesterday to send the required protocols to Classen.

However, we also received the latest information about our floor: The installed floor, NEOWood, 1.0, had wood mixed in as a carrier, among other things. The floor was now improved, NEO 2.0, and received stone meal as a carrier. The problems of 1.0 are supposed to be a thing of the past. Whether this is the case, we cannot judge because our complaint has not yet been finally assessed. ops:

If we get a replacement of the floor, we will report.

The latest correspondence with the manufacturer of our vinyl flooring gives us an impression of incompetence combined with the attempt to stall the customer by repeatedly asking new, additional questions and demanding various kinds of reports until the customer gets frustrated or tired and gives up.

After we submitted pictures and reports as well as filled out several pages of questionnaires, and also answered various additional questions by email and on-site at our retailer, we received another email today.

In this email, not only are all previously provided details requested again..... we are now also asked to specify the exact composition of the vapor barrier used. ops:
The recommended vapor barrier, manufacturer: Classen, was used!; this information can be found in a questionnaire as well as in an email.
So Classen demands from us an explanation of the construction of their product!
How charming!

Tomorrow we will go to the retailer one last time, as they are our contractual partner.
We decided this evening to commission an expert report and, if necessary, to have legal representation.
