How glad I am to have bought it in 2013. They laughed at me at work. In the countryside, detached, commuting. Now I owe nothing. Only 200 on the clock and I’m roasting my body in the Asian sun and reading along here. Back then, we consciously had it built smaller and cheaper.

I really don’t want to attack you personally and hopefully I’m not confusing or mixing you up with another user... this also goes off-topic... …you have already expressed your frustration about the current situation several times here. You complain about €300/sqm land prices near Schwäbisch Gmünd... that one can no longer afford property... But you want to build 160 sqm with a basement and garage for yourself and your child? I can understand that the situation is frustrating, it is for many. Sometimes one should maybe take two steps back... build 130 sqm with a carport... maybe that’s enough and then it fits the budget again? Just a thought. And to contribute something more to the topic... I am basically in favor of a municipality being able to decide on the allocation criteria, the population structure of a municipality is decisive for its development and survival...

So we have a condominium on the ground floor of a two-family house with 115 square meters for 4 people. That’s enough. Those who demand socialism here but require 165 for 3 or fewer people should think first.

Wasn't that also Mrs. Camilla who said A13 is too tight today, but grandpa's worker's wage was still enough? ----When grandpa built, then 100 sqm for six plus chicken coop instead of carport. Or even a double garage...

I don't even have a carport! We're just in a prosperous society. Here in Asia, they live with 16 people in 3 rooms plus an outhouse. That's luxury.

The state would have already achieved a lot if it had fulfilled its original task of reasonably connecting the country publicly. It would have certainly relieved the cities and diluted the housing problem through more attractive space.
