Why didn’t you want to show it?
I also planned yesterday. But it is not finished yet. On the ground floor, my layout is almost identical, but with a straight staircase.

Great, thanks a lot for the suggestion. I’m really happy about concrete proposals. At least much more than about generic "this is bad" comments. :)

but. What I see on the one hand is positive regarding the living-dining-cooking area. But I was heavily criticized for the inefficiency of the design. Here, however, I see an even longer tunnel hallway, no cloakroom, and roughly 20 sqm of additional area carved out. The hallways are even larger than in my design with a straight staircase. Hmm. Now I’m quite confused. Well, the living-dining-cooking topic is definitely better.
Could now also say, bigger is something anyone can do ;) where is the efficiency? Despite the "better" staircase more hallway tunnel without cloakroom possibility.
Hmm. Scratching my head.

Exactly, I don't like the hallway at all. But it is really more difficult when the entrance is on the narrow side of the house. This sketch is also just the beginning of my first considerations. I didn’t get any further. I wanted to use it to show the rough orientation of living and technical rooms as I would arrange them.

I wanted to present a second sketch with a straight staircase as a comparison and simply haven't had time for this alternative yet :-) Maybe tomorrow afternoon.

Alright. Thanks a lot. But yes, it should work with the living space in that direction. The house or the building gap is probably too small for a room only on the narrow side.

You are right. If I adjust the floor plan to 9.2 m, it is also possible with a landing staircase and a 1.5 m wide hallway. The kitchen then becomes almost 4 m wide.

I do have it… just no time ;)

You should be confused when someone conjures up an almost perfect floor plan for you within a day. Of course, paper, even digital, is patient. Still, a house design is a process that takes several weeks. Take examples and the efforts of us users as inspiration that some things can be done better. And take with you the knowledge that, sooner or later, not everything is simple. Ultimately, you have to set priorities. If it is the case that the open-plan living area has improved but not the hallway, that may be because the main entrance is on the short gable side. We can’t do anything about the narrowness of the plot.
