The room has a charm like a basement room due to the high parapet height for the window. But you have to know what is more important to you. Symmetry from the outside or the room feeling inside? For me, even with a 90 cm parapet height, the 80 cm high window would be too low. The top edge of the glass is only about 1.60 m above the floor.

Why is there only such a window strip in the study at all .. as it is now, you can't see outside while standing. How about like this:

The feeling of space inside would be more important. The parapet height would actually still need to be reconsidered. Possibly set to 100-110cm. Then you can look out while sitting and standing, if you are reasonably average height. Basement room describes it almost well. Thanks.
