Please don’t consider me stubborn now, but I’m afraid we don’t quite see eye to eye on this.

Reducing it to one door is out of the question for us. That actually seems to be a regional peculiarity (I wasn’t aware of that before), but we don’t want to miss having a door in the utility room.

However, we will take nordlys’ suggestion to heart: the children’s room will only be accessible through the living room and we will extend the living room wall all the way to the bedroom. This way, the annoying bend in the hallway disappears and the bend in the bedroom is removed. In addition, we should rotate the bed by 90 degrees so it’s easier to get to the window.
