What good is cheap land to me if I can't afford the house on it?

I also think the hallway is bad. Too big, the extension... no, it can be done better.

Just an idea of how the house could be rotated. If you put the child’s room or utility room on top, it can also be smaller in my opinion.

Edit: File too large. :-( How do I manage that on the phone?

Of course, it’s all a matter of taste, I just don’t like it. Everywhere 1m wide windows in large rooms, our guest WC window is 1m wide, that fits. Just imagine how dark it is in front of the living room entrance, the hallway is huge without windows.

Best regards
Sabine

The house can take a couple more windows. One in the living room, one more in the kitchen. Also too few closets, the bedroom doesn’t need any. The hallway is okay. Our hallway isn’t that dark either, although according to the plan it only gets light through the front door. In reality, that’s not the case. It also gets light through the open door, through the glazed living room door, through the attic door, which is a glazed terrace door because of the warm-cold separation. About the money, folks, now some people are letting their imagination run wild. We don’t know any of that. And even if we did, it wouldn’t be our business, because the question wasn’t whether I can afford it, but what would you improve. He’s learning now. A few say, tweak this and that, otherwise good, the majority, especially women, say, get rid of it and make it completely different.

Now 1700 per sqm are still normal prices here. 110 to 163 thousand was the case with us six months ago. That he has to do some calculations is probably true. But a fundamentally smaller 1.5-story house fully finished upstairs changes nothing. Believe it or not, building bungalow-style here in SH does not cost more. The B. is not a price-increasing special form here, but about 50% of the sold houses are B. Karsten
