Hello. Klaus 100 and Dina, we can understand you well or follow your posts. We are builders from Austria and for us it is going just as badly as many write here. Double burden for a long time, postponements, advance payments, unreachability of DM (in Germany - as in Austria), placations, promises that are not kept,.... etc. It is interesting to read that both in Germany and in Austria, the projects were built to about the same stage and came to a halt at about the same time or at the same construction progress. p.S.: @gru: the nickname horni is not, as he himself claims, a bra looking for help, but an "allegedly former" seller of DM in Austria...

Hello,

so I signed a contract in Nov. Before the contract was concluded, everything was great. My representative was always there and always got in touch and explained everything to us with every question. After the signature, everything was bad. Until today we have not received a reasonable contract or any help as promised by contract and construction consultant. I feel totally abandoned. The first invoice then promptly came where I should pay about 3000 euros. The company is really quick with that. At DM Gera I had to call 100 times. But it is always busy and no one calls back.
I was so looking forward to the house, the land and money are ready but unfortunately no one takes care of us. Nothing is progressing. Personally, I am now going to a lawyer and want to get out of my contract. I will not be treated like this. If it is already like this at the beginning, then good night and what I have read here I can fully confirm. I also believe that the company is going downhill, but please without me and hopefully also without everyone else who can still prevent it!!!!

One more thing I would like to mention since I have read the entire forum post and have seen a few times formulas like --how can you still write against your own builder, you would only harm yourselves--
1. If I (luckily I have not transferred any money yet) can prevent others from making the same mistake, then I will gladly do so.
2. If DM would have a reasonable "open" information policy and would not always just postpone or not talk to its builders at all, then such a forum would not exist. I myself only came to the forum because I got no information from DM, I would have to call 100 times before someone bothered to pick up the phone and I was promised many times to be called back and no one got in touch for weeks, not to mention the emails. And honestly, what else remains, yes right, the internet for example.

Well anyway, I myself will do everything to not pay DM a single cent and wish all those who have started building that your houses will still be finished and to all those considering building with DM to stay away.

One more thing, to the management of DM, whom I also suspect among the post writers, read this, learn from it, then maybe you will save your company, your employees and your customers' houses, and yes I am angry.!!!!!!!!!!!

@ Lumedes

I completely agree with you - it is important to make others aware and possibly protect them from it.

The only thing that seems odd to me is the manner, which at times is quite close to the borderline. One should be careful not to cause even more harm. Objectivity helps - at least that is my experience.

If a company does not respond, I believe you can get out of the contract quite well with the support of legal counsel. If I were you, I wouldn’t make any payments either.

DM Österreich

We worked with our company Meidlinger-Bau for DM in Villach and have received no further payment except for about 14,000 euros. A total of about 55,000 euros is outstanding. After months, invoices were added for alleged repairs, which demonstrably had nothing to do with our services.

We are now filing a fraud complaint against DM Österreich.

There are two other companies, Europahaus, Vertrieb Robert Dej in Villach and Clever bauen in Münchendorf, that operate on the same principle and cheat tradespeople.

Just ask the companies that allegedly have not received any money if they left unresolved defects somewhere in previous construction projects for DM.

Meidlinger-Bau is one of the companies that worked for DM Austria and, apart from a one-time payment of approximately 14,000, has not received any further payments. After months of stalling tactics, invoices for alleged repairs have been issued, which have nothing to do with the services we provided. We performed services on an hourly wage basis and were often on construction sites for nothing because DM had material blocks due to non-payments to building material suppliers. These standing and waiting times were also not compensated.

Now we have filed a fraud complaint against DM Austria.
