KÜBLER: Insolvency DM-Deutsche Massivhaus/Gera - DM-Deutsche Massivhaus GmbH files for insolvency
KÜBLER
Gera, March 16, 2009 – The general contractor DM-Deutsche Massivhaus GmbH, headquartered in Gera, has filed for insolvency. Attorney Dr. Bettina E. Breitenbücher from the KÜBLER firm was appointed as the preliminary insolvency administrator. The preliminary insolvency administrator and the public prosecutor are following up on indications of possible delayed insolvency filing.
“Immediately after my appointment, I began securing the assets of the company at the headquarters of DM-Deutsche Massivhaus GmbH in Gera,” stated the preliminary insolvency administrator Breitenbücher. “Since there is initial suspicion of delayed insolvency filing and asset transfers, we have secured extensive files there and disabled the former managing directors’ access to the company network.”
DM-Deutsche Massivhaus GmbH acted as a general contractor carrying out construction projects for its clients, from planning to turnkey handover of the house. Currently, about 780 construction projects managed by the company are in limbo. DM-Deutsche Massivhaus GmbH currently still employs 27 people at 12 locations throughout Germany and is known, among other things, as a former main sponsor of FC Carl Zeiss Jena.
“One focus of my work is now to follow up on indications of possible delayed insolvency filing and to clarify the facts,” said Breitenbücher. “In addition, I am doing my utmost to find a solution for the affected homebuyers and craftsmen.” However, in such cases, continuing the company is, according to all experience, hardly possible.
