Take a look at this thread/post about the ventilation system: A lot has already been discussed about it in general... It really is a matter of belief.

I know your heating dilemma, we had exactly the same. Also the problem with the ventilation system. We had the restriction that we didn’t have any gas available and would have needed a tank. At first, geothermal energy (with collector) was our favorite, but for cost reasons we ended up choosing an air heat pump. If you have a gas line in the settlement, I would recommend gas to you. Lowest acquisition costs and clean combustion. The costs for other heating systems do not pay off for a long time...

Thanks, I'll take a look at the thread.

Clean ... and what happens during the extraction of the gas?

This statement is not generally true, because it always depends on the respective construction partner and their calculation. There are providers for whom the gas condensing boiler with heat recovery is cost-neutral compared to an air-water heat pump. As for the other renewable energies, I gladly agree with you on that.

Rhenish greetings

Hmm. ok. I have now read through the 12 pages about ventilation. But I couldn't really take much "value" from it. What I liked is that it clearly showed what is central and decentralized, but unfortunately that was all the useful information for me. I still don't know whether I am better off with a central or decentralized system. But I do know that what someone offered me corresponds to a "simple exhaust system" with heat recovery.

a) do you live loudly or quietly? -> loudly: central, quietly: central/decentralized
b) is money very tight? -> no: central, yes: decentralized (tendentially somewhat cheaper)
c) are you afraid of the bad pipe? -> no: central/decentralized, yes: decentralized
d) do you possibly want to rent out a floor? -> no: central / decentralized, yes: rather decentralized (otherwise you argue that there is a draft - although you can possibly also reduce outlets ?!)
e) do you value the appearance -> yes: central, no: central / decentralized
f) are you very sensitive to noise? -> yes: central, no: decentralized/central
g) does your BU/GÜ pressure you to any solution? -> take the one; the other he cannot / does not like
