I see the walk-in closet the same way; it just has to work out or the floor space has to allow it. Who showers when and where is also a matter of personal preference. For example, my husband and I really don’t like being in the bathroom at the same time – not even when brushing our teeth. Therefore, a second bathroom with a shower is a must for us. We also often have overnight guests. If two children come along now...

However, I think the idea from to provide a shower in the basement is good! It doesn’t cost extra at first and you’ll have the option later!

As I said, even like this I can imagine this house being very nicely livable and I wish you lots of joy with it!

The kitchen's dimension is neither here nor there. It is too wide for a double-row or U-shape (that's why the lousy G-shaped kitchen is often drawn in as a filler), too narrow for a proper island. Actually, it already is: long and relatively narrow... What do you have in mind? Not that everything is fixed and you then can’t get something nice done. Also too narrow… like the kitchen. I would stick to the suggestion above: shorten the kitchen and plan a cloakroom. Possibly you can split the room and plan a pantry in the upper left corner of the plan.

I think Alessandro’s suggestion with the wardrobe is great! Definitely more sensible than windows to the courtyard. And also a benefit for the kitchen

Wasn't the kitchen already discussed here?

Well, we never really wanted an island anyway, which is why the stove isn’t drawn there (I would have liked to have one, but my wife isn’t on board with it :D).

We have 2.10 m of space from left to right in the kitchen to move freely? That should be enough, right? The rule or ergonomics say: at least 2 meters.

The kitchen is long, correct! But I don’t have to use the entire space, do I? So basically, we imagine the kitchen as it is currently drawn. Maybe one door and one tall cabinet less—depending on how much we want to fill the kitchen with cabinets.
We really like the kitchen’s arrangement with the windows so we can look outside directly.

Therefore, the cloakroom and pantry in the north are out of the question. Instead of the pantry, a large apothecary cabinet should serve (one of the tall cabinets already drawn). The rest should be in the basement.

Do you think this way we’re not heading in the right direction? Are 2.10 m of free space in the middle of the kitchen really too little?

If the kitchen or washing up with a view of the courtyard is so important to you, then place the kitchen in the middle as a central gathering place where you can also eat.
Don't forget the tap system :p :p :p
