Thank you for your opinions.
What I would change:
- Leave the stairs to the basement open, it gives more spaciousness to the hallway and the descent doesn't become such a dark hole.
I actually wanted to leave it open..... but my wife is "afraid" of the basement :)
And the entrance area we have from a show home, I don't think it's that dark, right.... Here is a picture of the entrance area
- Skip the pantry because you have a basement where you can store a lot. Climbing stairs prolongs life! ;)
Yes, that's exactly what we're thinking too but a pantry on the ground floor has something. We will have to discuss with the kitchen planner anyway whether the pantry can be used well without making the dining area and kitchen too tight. Otherwise, the pantry will be dropped.
Kitchen instead of 400 cm better 425 wide, then you get 7 tall cabinets of 60 cm side by side. That gives storage space without end.
I'll redraw it and try it out this weekend :)
The stairs then shift 25 cm to the left, bathroom becomes a bit smaller (110 cm for shower and toilet is enough). Also the bedroom becomes 25 cm smaller, but you have plenty of space there. The children's rooms gain the 25 cm.
Upstairs I also think the 25 cm would be manageable. If we shift 25 cm over, I only fear that the entrance area with the wardrobe will become too tight....
Is the wardrobe room supposed to be accessed through the closet?
Do you have exterior views? There are still some windows missing, e.g. in the bathroom and the child's room.
Entrance through the closet was an idea of mine. :)
Yes, windows are still missing, I'm always too lazy to draw them in :)
