Calm down. I never claimed that you claimed that you do it professionally. I was referring exactly to the quoted part. I doubt that you... well, exactly what you wrote there... But let’s just leave it at that. I don’t like you because although you can certainly express constructive criticism, when someone sees it differently, you react like a toddler, and you don’t like me because you think I believe I know everything better. Fine... we both don’t like each other. That’s okay. It’s also okay with me if you chuckle to yourself because you think you know that I will be annoyed about my 10 sqm bedroom, in which I spend at most an hour per day with open eyes, for the rest of my life or until the kids move out.

The HAR is supposed to be in the NW anyway, but yes, you would save something. I would have to measure that. And yes, that is definitely a criterion. Having an annoying box in an already tight driveway that you can knock down is not so great :P

Sweetie, you don't matter to me at all. Please finally stop accusing me of things you constantly make up and that are not true. You should also learn not to confuse criticism of your draft with criticism of yourself. You don't have to defend your draft to the death. Those who are interested here can see at a glance what's wrong with it. Yes, that’s how it will be, but I’m not laughing about it. It’s rather sad, because once the walls are up, you can't just erase or move them again. Then you've built a house for 600K bucks and sleep in a closet. The money is gone then. Without a central ventilation system, the air will be thick at night or it will be bitterly cold in winter when the window is open. I haven't even mentioned the heat in summer yet. Ever thought about that? South side and all? So you should already check the finances for a ventilation system and air conditioner. And with 4 people in this tiny bathroom, it will be pure stress. If you ever have to sell, something like that will significantly lower the price. But it’s all whatever, the main thing is no open-plan living in an I-shape. o_O

Oh sweetheart, that's exactly why I say you have no idea what you're talking about. We have a sleeping room of this size here and there is neither stuffy air nor is it bitterly cold or super warm. Apart from the fact that our preferred construction method is timber frame construction and almost all of those have ventilation anyway.
I also have no idea why I should be in a bathroom with four people at the same time. That doesn't cause any stress. It didn't with five people before either.
I'm not defending anything here, I'm explaining a few decisions and maybe someone has a better idea that better meets our requirements.
Enlarging a bathroom because you wouldn't be able to handle it or you spin some scenarios together for us is simply nonsense.
If the bathroom is enough for us, then it is. If a small bedroom is enough for me, then it is. You can point that out once, but to become derogatory about a different opinion, experience, and views... well, you can do that, it just paints a certain picture..

It's fine. I matter so little to you that you constantly feel compelled to react to it. Say yes, like a child... nah nah, I don't care... but... some nonsense... even more nonsense... but you don't matter to me... nah nah.

What I don't understand. Does each parent get their own bedroom or why are they named Parent 1 and Parent 2 and the beds so small? From my own current experience, I can say that a proper space (0.8-1m) on each side of the bed is worth its weight in gold. Due to an accident, my better half was using a walker for a while, and even now without it, it's a relief not to have to crawl into bed. By the way, as a partner, you should also be able to get out of bed properly without having to climb over the other.

The area of the laundry basket tower above the stairs should be looked at closely. Here, the headroom of the stairs could be too low depending on the room height.

If you like the floor plan, then build it. Would I build it? No! I would consult a professional (architect) for the most expensive investment of your life! This is not for nothing a long-standing training.

By now, even the last person understands why you can't find an architect. :D
