You mean the kitchen door is better placed there?
Can you explain that again in more detail based on your floor plan from #1?
I mean the one from ’89. With #1, the stairs obviously won’t work if there’s supposed to be an access to the kitchen there. I’m saying you’ll have to swallow a toad. The one from ’89 therefore places the wardrobe on the other side. The corner in the office isn’t optimal, but it’s measured so that our tech cabinet with printer and stuff fits there, which is cool because we often print something from the phone and just quickly pop in.
And yes, actually the kitchen door is better positioned there. When I move around inside the house, it’s probably used less often. It serves as "quick access" to the sink and kitchen after shopping. So when I move around inside the living spaces, office, bathroom, basement, upper floor, I don’t have to pass it. Sure, you can close it off, but then you have to carry groceries through all the areas. I actually thought the sliding door was a pretty good idea.
