Floor plan of a 200m2 house, your assessment?

Wow! I think this is a very extraordinary individual house, I really like it at first glance!

I am not a floor plan specialist, but what caught my attention:
This large room for everything and nothing downstairs on the ground floor: I somehow can't imagine coming out of the sauna and then entering a study with a guest bed couch… even if there is only a cabinet with file folders that you just need. I would find that somehow inappropriate for the overall concept of the house.
I can well imagine a gym and a "relaxation room" there, especially with the view. I would place the sauna directly on the terrace with a view of the garden. Then fitness around that room and where the sauna is currently planned, the separate work-guest room, with a few additional square meters.

Guest WC would be too small for me at 1.6 sqm.

As a fireplace, I could well imagine a hanging model, if that is technically feasible with a chimney.

I also consider the budget of €600,000 ambitious, but I’m really keeping my fingers crossed that it works out and would be happy to read more about your great project here!

Let's make it clear so there are no misunderstandings: You do not build this (very attractive) house for €600,000.

Unless the architect sponsors it out of his own pocket, which I doubt...

Our goal is to build as "low-budget" as possible, and the latest estimate for the house is 600,000 (excluding fence, garden, and pool).

The statement doesn’t really match the floor plan shown. It’s roughly like looking for designer shoes for €75. The property can become really stylish, but never for that amount! The railing for the two balconies/terraces alone already costs €50k…

Thank you for your kind words and the constructive comment. I am also not yet satisfied with the ground floor. Our consideration was that we would use the fitness area more often than the sauna, hence the placement / the view towards the terrace. But your argument about mixing it with the workroom makes sense; we need to think differently there. I want to extend the guest WC. I think the space between the lift and the WC can be well integrated, and the door shifted forward. Then there would first be the small washbasin (with window) and the WC as currently planned. I really like the hanging fireplace. I just don’t yet see where it would be ideally placed. The plan would be to position the bookshelf at the stairway (because a window is dispensable there). But that would also be a good place for the fireplace… I would be happy to read your thoughts on that.

Preferred heating technology: geothermal baskets and photovoltaic on the roof

are expensive, take up space, and cool the ground.
Does it work for you?
I would opt for a deep drilling here, provided it is supposed to be a brine-water heat pump.
