One reason would be to at least briefly let the participants who have really put brainpower and time into the further development of your plans partake in which direction it ultimately developed. After all, you have indeed received valuable hints on which questions you can base your further planning.

Another reason is that everyone here without exception has given feedback that the project is extremely exciting and the design very successful, and of course one would like to be part of how it continues after having been "hooked."

There will always be grumpy people with unhelpful answers, and of course you are not obligated to anything. But I think many here would be very glad if you at least share a few updates in the future.
