I've been here too long for that, it's always the same procedure ;)
And do you also wonder why many people disconnect here?
I have answered every question often enough (in great detail). In many cases, there wasn’t even a reaction from the questioner.
I appreciate factual and critical arguments, especially when they relate to the actual topic. Nobody needs condescending and aggressive comments.
There are some very competent people here, which you can also tell from their professional answers.
A heartfelt thanks to everyone who addressed my actual question factually or wanted and above all were able to respond with tips. I have taken up many of your hints and will consider them in our further deliberations. I won’t name anyone specifically, but I think you know whom I mean.
Unfortunately, this forum is dominated by the loud, partly unfactual, and significantly less competent. And not only in this thread, if I read the negative reactions of other OPs.
I also believe that the first 1,2,3 posters on the budget topic were genuinely concerned about the welfare of the project. However, after I repeatedly asked to focus on my actual question (floor plan or room layout) and to drop the budget issue, further identical comments probably have more to do with their authors than with wanting to help.
When the actual question increasingly recedes into the background, the tone becomes more aggressive and cynical, and speculation and accusations are discussed, reading the comments becomes increasingly unpleasant. Therefore, I see no reason to continue this here.
You know nothing about me and the previous development process, yet some presume to speculate.
Sorry, I have to manage my time efficiently, and seeing how this thread is developing, I don’t believe much more factual input on my actual question is still to be expected here.
Read through the thread and imagine you were in my place. Honestly—how long would you have remained so polite?
To quote one of your remarks in conclusion—whether I think it’s worth investing my time here?—"are you kidding?".
