The question then is whether questions may be costly or should rather not burden the budget. That does make a difference :-) No question. It’s a nice house, but the budget will be more than tight :-)

A cost-saving measure for me would be to leave out this recess at the bottom right of the plan. There is enough space for the two bedrooms if no wardrobes have to go in there. The kitchen cabinets (tall cabinets) then on the right wall of the plan (there are no windows there) and rotate the island by 90 degrees. For the island, you should consider how you work most in the kitchen. We also thought for a long time about whether the island should have the stove, the sink, or nothing at all and are satisfied with nothing at all. However, I don’t chop vegetables in the sink but dry and then just rinse them briefly. Then you have a great work surface with a view outside. And in any case, I would still provide a WC downstairs by the sauna.

And how high are the estimated costs for that?

But the little picture does show glass. And please don't tell me now that the architect just drew it like that. It probably won't be a solid wall or a hunter's fence. ;) Stylish is and remains expensive, and we have known for a long time here that most architects are not good at estimating costs. Crystal ball: Cost estimate 600k€, but unfortunately he means net and then at least 20% more are added. 0.9-1 million. Because anyone who builds such a house doesn't install a toilet for 29€ from B1. (At least I wouldn’t do that…)

But it is not so easy in design, as the windows at the bottom of the plan go from wall to wall and this effect is influenced by tall cabinets on the right wall according to the plan.

Well, the windows on the bottom side of the plan can be adjusted.
