Floor plan of a 200m2 house, your assessment?

That's roughly like looking for designer shoes for 75 €.

I like the comparison! Of course, you can also find cheap designer shoes. (I'm an expert on that...) You just have to be flexible with the model or the color and keep an eye out for sales.

Regarding the budget: we are aware that it is tight (especially in times like these). We also have a certain buffer, but our goal is to implement the project as economically as possible and to save creatively especially where the quality of living is not reduced. Examples: fixed glazing instead of many sliding doors, cast asphalt floors, corrugated sheet facade, polycarbonate panels, geothermal baskets... And yes, as Katja has already written, maybe becoming a bit smaller, too.

I look forward to your ideas and experiences on where it makes sense to save. Unfortunately, the many purely "that's never going to work" comments don't help me.

* Our goal is to build as "low-budget" as possible and the last estimate is 600,000 for the house (excluding fence, garden, and pool).

So you are doing everything by self-contracting from phase 4 onwards?

In my opinion, everything is significantly more relaxed and realistic from 1 million upwards.

Above all, the statement "sparsam" does not fit 0% with the floor plan and the wishes ([Aufzug, Pool, Glasgeländer, Hängender Kamin, etc.]). Of course, all of that is nice, but honestly: With €600k and this floor plan, all of that is castles in the air and far from a realistic plan.

If I roughly calculate, that is just under 210 sqm of living space on 3 very intricate levels. With the different levels shown in the views, glass railings, elevator, large spans, I doubt the realization with 600,000 euros.

I do not doubt that. I am very sure it will not work. It will rather be towards 800,000 €.

You want a pool, glass railings, a wood stove, geothermal baskets, etc.
In my opinion, everything is significantly more relaxed and realistic starting at 1 million.

Regarding the geothermal baskets – our research has shown that they are a cost-effective and quickly implementable solution. At any rate, cheaper than deep drilling. Geothermal baskets also promote soil regeneration.

Apart from the intellectual and creative contribution, we want to leave the rest to professionals. The potential savings through personal contribution are limited anyway, and I prefer to focus on what I really can do and my job.

I never wrote that we want glass railings. Definitely a wood stove, but it doesn’t have to be the luxury hanging variant. The pool would, if things get really tight, be postponed.

As I said, there is a buffer and it ranges up to the amount you mentioned. At the moment, however, we are working towards our goal and want to try to achieve it as best as possible. Ideas and tips are very welcome.

My actual question was whether there are any ideas & suggestions for improvements to the floor plan or if you notice any logical errors. That would be very helpful. We are already keeping an eye on our budget.
