Hello forum,
I am in the process of gathering information about building a house. I have one or two house offers available. Town & Country and Heinz von Heiden. I hope my concern is correctly posted here, otherwise please move it. Since the spotted plot of land has no gas connection, only a heat pump remains, or rather, you can add it for a small additional cost with Town & Country, while with Heinz von Heiden it is already included as standard. Both have Rotex systems. Now there is the consideration to operate the air heat pump using a heat pump tariff, which costs almost 4000€ more at Town & Country, just so that "a lever in the system is switched." Without this approach, it runs on household electricity. I find almost 4000€ for "the switching" quite steep. Does anyone have any idea if this also applies at Heinz von Heiden, or if they are already thinking further and it is already suitable for a heat pump tariff there? Maybe there are further opinions or ideas here. In my research, one also occasionally finds negative things about the electricity consumption of Rotex systems. Since I do not want to spend all the money on electricity consumption, I am looking for solutions or whether Rotex is really that bad? Maybe someone also knows which alternative systems are installed by the aforementioned companies.
Many thanks for that.
Regards
André
Important for an air-water heat pump is a proper design of the underfloor heating, ventilation with heat recovery, and contemporary insulation. Will that work smoothly with the two companies?
By the way, for 4000€ you can also get a small 3 kWp photovoltaic system... I would rather take that and run the heat pump on household electricity.
