Up to page 22, @Coffee82 was still diligently reading everything. So afterwards left the discussion because no expected answers came...
Saturday 18:42, not even 48 hours ago and thus too early for a missing persons report concerning an adult person. I assume that the next opportunity to talk with the architect has not yet occurred or has not yet produced any reportable results. Therefore, there is no need to formally unregister from the discussion here or to get a leave request approved ;-)
One problem might be that a lot of inspiration for the floor plans and must-haves is taken from the USA or Scandinavia, where traditionally building is much larger and much cheaper.
Not all Americans are named Ewing or Carrington, and one shouldn’t take Scandinavia from ZDF Herzkino too "literally" either ;-)
Around here people like to show what they have.
And conversely: the tendency to "save on the basement" does not come from the desire for less storage space, but also from the fact that the "gloss value" of the underground room is zero. A junk room with a six-meter-wide sectional door is not least more impressive. And having the cars parked in front is even better ;-)
