Where are the price drivers? Roughly 200TE renovation for him, but he wouldn't do it.
Everywhere ;)
Move some radiators forward and create niches Leave the heating including pipes as is or heat pump including photovoltaic (apparently currently unavailable)
If I'm renovating anyway, then not with radiators, especially if it should go towards a heat pump.
A question to the group, if insulation costs 40TE, does this measure even "pay off"? I can heat for quite a long time for that...
That is even a decent price. I had expected more considering the current insulation material prices. Whether it pays off is always relative – you have to see it in the overall context. So including heating, windows, etc. If you spend 3,000€ every year for oil or gas uninsulated, or alternatively 550€ for electricity, the overall measures make sense. Both economically and ecologically. Saved energy benefits not only the wallet but also climate protection.
For me, a renovation has to be a holistic concept. So without insulation and heat pump, decent windows suffice, at worst good and cheap double glazing. That would make the overall package significantly cheaper but leads to higher energy costs (how will they develop over the next 20 years?). And if you stick to gas/oil now and the heating breaks down in five years so that you might have to switch mandatorily to a heat pump, you might then have a house that is not really suitable for a heat pump.
For me clearly a "I renovate properly if it fits the budget."
