It seems more reasonable to me to do rough work before moving in. I would rather not live on a construction site :) But yes, if you could spruce it up with not so much money, that would be great. It's relatively simple: if we put more than half of the purchase price into renovation work, then it's too risky for us. In that case: 550 TE property + additional costs + renovation 300 TE does not make sense for us (for us!).

So if the house is still completely in its old condition or parts are 40 years old, then I find the purchase price very high given the known key data?

Thanks! I have the utmost respect for such attention to detail and also for such ideas. It already looks good, but that is certainly not low budget (just the renovation from the outside). I just see the risk that the costs run away and we spend significantly more than we wanted on such a property.

So here you are only buying the land (the location is about 1 minus to 2 plus). To be honest, it will probably be demolished.

I agree. Demolition and everything that requires walls/ceilings/floors to be opened up (extensively) (electricity, water/sewage, heating pipes, screed?) I would do before moving in.

Windows, facade, possibly roof could also be done later.

Wow!
Although I don’t find the example that fitting for the thread, it’s a really great reading recommendation. Thanks!
It includes the explanation that old houses, which adapt to their surroundings, can be successfully and tastefully furnished in the Bauhaus style.
I’m thinking of some debated floor plan designs and photos of houses in the image thread under the label “Bauhaus style,” where then the country kitchen or living wall with rustic flair and lots of cheap knickknacks makes its way in.
