I agree with . In my opinion, the nicest lighting in the living room is wall lights or floor lamps. Pendant lights are also possible, but spotlights do remind one a lot of an office.

A pendant light above the stairs would then hang very high, wouldn't it? Changing the bulb could be quite a challenge.

That's why I wondered whether it makes sense to plan two rows here? It should be mentioned that the kitchen planning is still pending and lighting will still be planned here as well. I am definitely not a fan of spots in the living room either. They are only meant to be used when you want it bright occasionally. Of course, we are planning with indirect lighting and floor lamps here. About 1.70-1.80 m above the finished floor on the upper floor. If the light bulb should ever be defective, it could indeed become tricky.

How much does a can cost from you? If it doesn't matter, that's okay.

Just something to think about, a can easily costs 100€, LED spotlights from to can easily be 50-100€ plus installation and connection, you can easily blow 5k on the ground floor.
To have it bright in the living room twice a year (for what, actually, to clean in the evening or to look for the contact lens?) you can also use a ceiling outlet.

As already said: I would omit all other spots as mentioned.
Regarding the kitchen: the ceiling light is not meant as task lighting, but only as cleaning and general lighting. Task lighting preferably lower and positioned. For example, under the tall cabinet or as a pendant light. At eye level.

A Halox can costs us 45,- net. Of course, the recessed spotlight is additional. We have now completely painted the recessed spotlights in the living room, bedroom and dressing room. For this, surface-mounted spots are then used in the bedroom and dressing room. It is even significantly cheaper than the Halos can and dimmable.

In the living room, I want to build an indirect lighting on the TV wall with strips similar to this.

I would need your opinion again on the canopy at the house entrance. Currently, there are two options:

Option 1: Cantilever the upper floor ceiling over an Isokorb. Here, the question arises as to how the drainage could be solved? Small parapet / upstand and a tray? Or slope with a gutter?

Option 2: Steel construction with cladding and gutter?

In the construction plan and static calculations, we have incorporated Option 1, which I personally also prefer.
