I don’t understand your statement. - 2-meter line: there is a shed roof -> height setting is specified by the architect. However, nothing will be below 2 m. - You can call it gallery, but also hallway - I don’t understand very dark rooms at all. Except for the bedroom, every room has 2 windows. Corner window in the bathroom is still to be reconsidered - Walk-in closet is even a big wish - Bathtub is not missing

There is an architect. There was already an appointment. After a brief chat, it was clear to both of us that the relationship fits.

Uh yeah, that doesn’t belong here either. I don’t know why the post ended up in your thread

We have made quite a bit of progress by now. The building application has been submitted, the structural calculations are complete, trades such as shell construction, roof, and windows are finalized. Basically, our basic idea has been implemented almost seamlessly. Below are the plans. Sorry for the somewhat poor layer thickness, I have been tweaking the setup myself and had problems with the layers and the different plot styles...

In the basement, we are still unsure whether to divide the workshop into 2 rooms, which would require a second side entrance door. (T30 requirement, thermal insulation, etc.)

On the ground floor, we have not yet decided how we want to design the entrance area with the wardrobe. Here we are flexible due to all 11.5 cm walls being drywall and done in-house. The 24 cm wall between the pantry and hallway will be made of exposed concrete.

On the upper floor, all 11.5 cm walls are also non-load-bearing and can be changed once the children move out. The north facade is, of course, somewhat unusual due to the few windows, but here the interior layout possibilities and energetic aspects took precedence.

Daylight in the bathroom WC on the upper floor might be somewhat limited, but we can live with that. The wall next to the shower will be constructed only half-height in drywall, with the upper half made of a glass pane to allow light into the shower.

Hi

I really like the layout and floor plan.
However, I find an opening of the building with the roof and windows to the south better, but there are certainly several correct solutions.
What does the roof covering look like?
I don’t see that it will be too dark with the glass wall to the shower. In the summer months, the morning sun still shines in nicely there.

I also really like it, although I don’t like [Pultdach]. When is the groundbreaking? Will we get pictures?
