The Galan Kubus was offered with a sound insulation value of 39 dB and the KF 410 with 34 dB. We are still waiting for the offer for the 320, but I can provide it as soon as I have it.

We have the KF 410 with 34 dB. Our window dealer said that would be sufficient. In hindsight, I regret that I listened to him. Today, I would choose a significantly higher sound insulation value.

How tall are you guys? Have you ever tried it? Especially going downstairs? You can see from my drawing example: that even a person well over 180 cm tall can have difficulties going downstairs. Therefore, I find overlaps in stairs overall very unconventional.

I am 175 cm tall. My partner is 165 cm. Earlier I played around a bit with the position and the overhead clearance and with a bit of back and forth I come to about 202 cm. We tried it at our stairway in the rental apartment. There it is only 180 and it works going down. If the DIN requires 2.00 m and we can at least meet this, I don't see any further problem here.
