Difficult question. To be honest, what bothers me most is the column. Is it really necessary? Otherwise, it's not a disaster - just normal, I would say. Is normal enough?

I actually find the pillar nice. That's where tastes differ. Normal should be enough considering the budget. What would be “not normal” or a highlight for you?



I know. We're still unsure here whether to make the access to the utility room from the hallway. If yes, the tall cabinets could go on this wall and I would have space for the window where you suggested.

I have another question about our development plan, which is actually stricter than expected. First of all: There were apparently some exemptions for the neighboring houses, which the responsible gentleman at the building authority has already informed me about.

Specifically, I am concerned about the maximum allowable heights. It is stated here that in the area of recessed facade surfaces, the maximum permissible wall height may be exceeded.

Does this mean that if I were to place 2 full stories recessed over a basement, an approval could be possible?
