We also have a dryer and do not dry on the rack inside the house. Nevertheless, one should keep in mind that, for example, sportswear, wool, and more and more pants with stretch as well as tops must not go into the dryer. In our 2-person household, we just manage with such a wall-mounted rack. It's always somehow full. But that doesn’t work with 4 people and even less with girls’ and girly clothing. Just as a note.

A photovoltaic system with 9-10 kwp and an equally large battery costs around 25,000€ gross. Your budget was 400,000€, right? If so, then in my opinion, when planning the house, there are more important things than a battery that costs you at least 10,000€ to save 50€ electricity per month.

A different question, since I couldn’t find it anywhere – what is the terrain like in terms of elevation? Is it flat or do you have a slope? I have 2-3 meters (rather 3m over 22m of land) and therefore have to sink 26,000€ gross into the site just for L-bricks. To be honest, at first I didn’t believe it would be that much. As a layperson, you don’t see that immediately.

How is it with you?

A misconception that laypeople easily fall for. The energy required to evaporate 2 kg of water (at normal boiling point — doesn’t matter, we just need rough estimates) is 1.25 kWh. Current heat pump dryers (7 kg capacity) need about 1.5–2 kWh for one drying cycle. The mentioned ventilation losses of airing drying and the fact that the waste heat of the dryer warms the apartment don’t even have to be considered to arrive at my statement “there is at least not much difference.” Whatever forms the energy took in between and how it was distributed does not matter; in the end, essentially all of it is waste heat. With a heat pump heating system (generously assumed seasonal performance factor of 4), for 2 kWh of heat you would need 0.5 kWh of electricity, so the values are almost identical; if you have a worse heating system or a better dryer, it shifts. Ventilation still not considered.

Basically, the energy expenditure is exactly the opposite of what you, willo, assumed: mechanical energy is much smaller than the effort for temperature changes, and those are negligible compared to changes in the state of aggregation (at least with water). Fun fact: for this reason, egg cookers are also energetically much worse than commonly believed.

So, I hope that’s all from me here. Sorry to the OP…

Hmm .. now comes this:

Are points a) and c) clarified? Or is 12.49x12.49 also considered rectangular in terms of the building plan? Although, when I read eaves/gable ratio in b) and the width restriction to max. 10 in a).

Have discussed this with the municipality. According to their statement, there will be no exemption. I am to provide drawings that adhere to the development plan as much as possible. For points that do not meet this, a special permit is required. Therefore, I want to comply as much as possible. That is why the architect has also shortened the [OG].

How is it with the thermal bridge when the base slab is 12.49×12.49m and in the drawing of the building, that corner is omitted?
