That should not be what it means either. But presumably, you have not followed the perceived eternity of the project's development, from the architect disaster through original creations and the overthrow debacle due to floor slab requirements. At the end of this magnificent metamorphosis, to now see this plain standard design is on the one hand a relief, but on the other also somewhat disappointing.

So I, as a mother, would be happy about such closet rooms in the children's rooms. You don't have to store only clothes there, but could also temporarily park the neon pink Barbie castle there when Elsa is currently in. The OP asked for additional storage space.

Ok, so you're stuffing Elsa in there too. That wasn't clear to me. But somehow it only makes the situation worse for me. Imagine the face of the girlfriend when the room is not only twice as large, but now also presented with such a gigantic walk-in closet including Elsa.
I also didn't assume that the storage space was supposed to be generated in the children's rooms.

Yes, but compared to the design at the beginning of the discussion, this increase in area has practically arisen through the inclusion of the "smoking balconies"

Hello Solveigh, first of all I want to sincerely thank you for taking the time and helping to design the plan. THANK YOU

Regarding the children's room size. Originally a balcony was planned. Due to its removal, the children's rooms have become larger, which is not a must. I think 20m2 is also completely sufficient for the kids. If there are ideas regarding optimization, feel free to post.

Stairs: Would you rotate the stairs 180 degrees? So that when going down, you arrive directly in the living room/kitchen?
What do you think about rotating the stairs 90°, as I had posted a drawing before? The advantage would be that, unlike the current version, you don't have to first run to the front door to reach the stairs.

Office: It should be sized so that a double bed + wardrobe fit in. But I would prefer a separate entrance in case guests stay over or a family member moves in.

@ kaho674, yes we wanted to build a designer house, which is why we went to the architect. We wanted a house that you see, for example on Pinterest, with beautiful stairs, spaciously designed rooms, etc. Unfortunately, as is known, we really took a hard hit with that.
The house is not 130m2 large, where every square meter must be planned down to the smallest detail.

I think we are close to the goal and maybe just a few adjustments need to be made. Then this metamorphosis is also done and in the end there will be a beautiful house.

I do not see a double bed and/or wardrobe in your office.
