I have discovered another error in my version 3. The chimney in the children's bathroom passes through the door area. So mirror the chimney with the door, then it will be correct again.

Regarding the hallway area in the attic version 3: Basically, I am not a fan of such large hallway structures. Personally, I prefer to assign these areas to the rooms. With you, due to the still large rooms, I could indeed imagine this hallway with a nice staircase railing as interesting.

I agree with you there, but: in my view, such details will still be addressed well during the revision of the approval plans, but the bag in terms of the preliminary design phase should now be closed – otherwise, one just ends up in a zigzag of changes that delay more than they benefit. I now consider the Pareto optimum fully achieved. Incidentally, I fully agree with Uncle Dagobert (today 08:11 in the green forum).

Hello, attached is the latest creation. Thank you all for the tips. I have tried, as far as possible, to incorporate your ideas and suggestions.

Ground floor --> Is the corridor width of 1.50m too narrow?

--> Does the hallway look oppressive/boring without the gallery? You have already mentioned that it is unnecessary, but the house should also make an impression visually.

--> Access for Child 2 to the corridor (the suggestion was to place it on the left side of the plan) we find too far away from the master bedroom. If the child gets sick at night, for example, we wouldn’t hear or notice it.

--> How could the corner at the entrance to the technical room/office be softened? Too many corners? A separate entrance is necessary in case a family member moves in.

--> Do you see a possibility to place another pantry (e.g., in the technical room/office)?

--> The fireplace is on the outside wall because I couldn’t find a suitable place elsewhere. Also, the fireplace would be visible from all sides this way.

--> Would you add another door from the master bathroom to the corridor? For example, as a second escape door (fire, etc.)

If you find the floor plan okay so far, I would now commission the draftsman.

Thank you all

Rather the opposite: the height makes it narrower.

Yes.

One more reason against this unnecessary shaft.

No.

That is done by the architect.
