For these reasons, the green arrangement was suggested as an alternative
The green arrangement would not be mine. Maybe you reflect something like that... but only building on my own west side? No...
And since we are on the topic, as we get along well with the existing neighbors to the north, it is still unclear whether we want to place the garage directly on his boundary, as it potentially shades his terrace.
Forget it: wherever the garage takes someone's sun away, it will be deepest night because of a house.
The neighbor who tends to criticize rather than accept many things will _always_ criticize. No matter how smoothly deep you build: your house will be disturbing.
The garage cannot comply with the Hessian building regulations.
Nevertheless, and I too have to wonder that this garage wall, practically a "2-story," even comes from an architect's pen. I would somewhat backtrack if I wanted to get something approved and rather go for plan c, d, or e.
here again a first draft, we ourselves already have some change requests, but I would still basically be interested in your opinion and your suggestions for improvement.
Although I have already posted my comment in the meantime, since I have reread the entire thread (because I could no longer grasp the context of the title), I am surprised that a floor plan is supposed to be discussed here. I must have also missed the site plan with elevation details?!
We have a questionnaire in the correct subforum that answers the open questions for the readers here and is helpful for constructive criticism. I would probably have given the "house draft" its own new discussion thread.
Now we are actually stuck with a "3-gable house" (it is called differently with the shed dormer, I just can’t come up with it here) on a sloping plot with a basement, which looks like a multi-family house in the garden due to its height. Exactly _that_ is to be avoided if one talks about not building a basement but using a lower ground floor as living space, so that you don't end up with this tower-like building, which also still has to be affordable.
If it were my plot, I would plan as follows without a basement but with a large storage room. That should pass as a standalone building.
I think the 3 meters to the street would probably have to be maintained. We personally solved it similarly with the garage.
If I were you, I would open a new thread when it comes to the floor plan discussion with a link to this one.
After 2 months and without a site plan and questionnaire in the opening thread, important information is missing, which is necessary to pick up the reader where you want them to be.
