Well, we haven’t bought a kitchen yet and are open about it. It would be nice if the floor plan allows a lot so that one could possibly take advantage of a display kitchen or offers.

Here in BY something like that is certainly a deviation from the BY building code. Which BO applies to you?

The shower could be longer, plan the wardrobe in the bedroom individually under the slope. Bed under the slope.
BUT: don’t build a bathroom above the living area! Use common waste pipes for the bathrooms! Blue over blue!

I find the children's rooms too small.

We agree, we’ve already noted that. We are happy to give up some space in the bedroom and give it to the children. Let’s see how that can be done, it also depends on the ground floor.

I think the children's rooms are too small. You have more space to sleep and get dressed than the kids have for their entire life. Children need space to play, for friends, etc. 12 sqm is okay, but with such a big house I would grant the kids more space.

Yes. One easily forgets or represses that children do not stay 1.10m small their entire life and from a certain age want a reasonably sized desk and maybe also a small couch... or at least an armchair so you don't always have to sit on the bed. Occasionally, two friends might come to visit as well...
