Men: the 0.0% is paid exactly by the person who takes advantage of it.

Ever tried to have a kitchen calculated without negotiations and after price prediction said you wouldn’t use the financing (with us it was devices around 5%)?
Then the seller says the magic phrase: oh, well then we first subtract 8% again.

By the way, what you claim for yourself is not the be-all and end-all.
So there is no reason to indirectly devalue those who have decided or claimed something different. Right?!

My countertop was about 4.5k and the devices I bought myself, but of high quality (e.g. flush 90cm induction hob) as well. At that point, the carpenter really can’t reduce the kitchen price much further.

Aha, so a kitchen only consists of the countertop and the appliances...

My quote still comes from a time when it was about custom-made kitchens - if you get the electrical appliances yourself, you are usually always cheaper than a carpenter or a furniture store. Why should be clear...

So it was about a comparable kitchen price carpenter vs. kitchen studio.

4500 euros for the granite slab? And you now think that the price without measurements & type of stone is cheap? How do you come to the conclusion that it was cheap? My uncle and my sister are carpenters and I happen to know prices for materials - and you will be surprised what is possible regarding granite slabs.

I took the advice from the forum to heart and ordered the book Clever Küchen Kaufen. The explanations are very interesting, although so far I have not encountered any "sleazy" bazaar dealer, this applied most of all to the "all in one furniture stores," pure kitchen studios did not come with phantom discounts, they were even surprisingly inexpensive and Ikea... well, either you love it or you hate it, there is nothing in between.

Interest rate development?
What is the situation with interest rates at the moment, three weeks ago there was the "big" jump, has it calmed down again by now?

You cannot follow your own argumentation and lash out badly. Shame. It was about kitchen prices where you claimed 15k euros was way too much, a carpenter was much cheaper (which was an extremely general statement). I showed this with appliance + countertop price, which was already at 9k without the furniture. Scroll back a bit.

You should read better - I never referred to 15k as too expensive and [Tischler (not Schreiner...)] as cheaper. And I also never said that 15k was too expensive.

The one who bangs around is you - some numbers come up that are not related. You better flip back and understand...
