So we are also still almost in the group you described (with the salary having 2 more or less full earners at the upper end and the loan about in the middle) and plan for everything to be completed in 15 years - whereby we are also paying off overall at 6%.

Yes, the whole thing sounds good, which of course still depends on the equity you bring in, then the situation looks different. Do you have children or are you still childless? That is also a factor.

Yes, I agree completely. 25 years should be the maximum and then work with special repayments, maybe then you can manage 20 years. And if there is still something left, you can set a fixed term for another 5 years after 20 years, that won't cost the earth.
