Interest rates are currently at the level before the bond purchases began. This means, in principle, we are now only talking about the margin as long as the key interest rate does not rise. Nothing is likely to change quickly there. On the contrary, if the bond purchase program continues in the same form, the interest rate level should rather be declining.

The fact is that there is no reason why bond demand has fallen and interest rates are high.

if interest rates rise again by 0.5-1%, it will hardly be feasible for an average earner to build a house anymore. prices have risen so dramatically in recent years that it has only been possible due to the low interest rates.

You speak from my heart. When I always hear the sayings.." You should have financed six years ago, the interest was something else back then..." Yes, that's true, but the construction costs were much lower at that time. Maybe it is even like six years ago.. Only that on one side the e has become less and on the other more. Regards

How does it look currently? Is it true that interest rates are slightly decreasing again?
