I agree with that.

Therefore, be modest with the square meters or have a large budget. In my opinion, the extra wish list and possible surprise costs are both loosely proportional to the number of square meters.

At least it hits harder on many sqm. Flooring 100 sqm 5 euros surcharge on the calculation is already 500, with 50 sqm only half. Big house means many lights, possibly many new furniture, large kitchen with many meters, many windows that need to be adorned....
