I am always impressed by your price awareness.
How are the devices roughly in terms of energy efficiency?

Kaho, that’s nothing special. Thousands buy there, no negotiating, no boss discount, no if you buy today... then you get a Marabou chocolate bar for free, standardized procedure, checklist for electricians and plumbing, measurement mandatory, costs 99, refunded upon purchase, so no magic, just very far from the usual practices in the kitchen industry otherwise. And no insider tip, Ikea is everywhere. Karsten

Yes, of course, I didn't mean that. I just find you consistently affordable. Frills are avoided – that’s somehow... liberating, isn’t it?

Thank you for your praise. We currently have a total of 295 for the house. Including land, garden, etc. It just has to add up. Each trade has its limits, and if you overspend 1000 somewhere, you have to save somewhere else. The general contractor is still short 51. We have just under 100 left. It will work out. Whatever is left over will go towards an autumn vacation. The move is on September 1st. Karsten PS. I don't know how energy-efficient the appliances are. That's not so important, the main thing is that they do what they're supposed to.

The kitchen for €4000 + installation is definitely about 90% as good as the kitchen for €20,000. Of course, you get more performance or quality with more money in the appliances, but you can also replace those later. The kitchen walls themselves, etc., are almost identical; the carcass is always particleboard.
As a particularly price-conscious person, you can also save on the installation and, for example, invest in better appliances if you're an IKEA furniture assembler. Otherwise, it's nothing ^^

I have learned that kitchens range from €4,000 to about €400,000 (in the single-family home sector). While luxury kitchens usually start at around €80,000 and go up to €200,000, there are outliers beyond that. Certainly, there are visible and tangible differences and details, but that is not important here. Ultimately, it is "target costing," meaning that starting from a given budget, I determine what the individual trades or installations are allowed to cost. And the minimum requirement is that it must work. The rest, whether a €4,000 kitchen is 90% just as good as a €20,000/40,000/80,000/100,000 kitchen, depends on individual needs and evaluations.

For me personally, a custom-made kitchen by a carpenter is worlds apart from industrially produced goods made from sawdust. The only question is whether it is worth it to you.
