Thank you kbt09,

I had already suspected that you have to use another forum with it.....

NEVER EVER will I spend 20k or more on a kitchen. 20K for particle board and lacquered doors? NEVER and NO WAY! Well, appliances included etc.. you have to see.

I would already be glad to get by with that. We have a rather large kitchen with 21.4m². A cooking island is supposed to go in.

Crazy... I mean, I know the prices by hearsay... But personally, I work too hard for the money to then spend 20-30-40-50k on a kitchen. A bit of that and I have completely paid off my plot and the house.
The added value just isn’t there for me.

But I’m also lucky because I have a carpenter in the family. Buy appliances online and then it gets built the way we imagine it. But even if I didn’t have anyone in the family, I wouldn’t spend 20k.

And the size of the kitchen doesn’t play such a big role. Because if it’s big (which is also great), then I don’t want to fill it up with furniture, but rather enjoy the space.

You must not stop thinking. Whoever does that ends up paying extra.

But again; this forum is very informative and many users are very helpful. Thanks for that!

Respect to anyone who builds their own kitchen. But even if I had the craftsmanship skills, would I want to do it? Can I even come close to the selection and variability of a professional kitchen? I can hardly imagine that. The many features and little details that make up the beauty and practicality are hard to replicate, right? Where do you get the favorite fronts from?

I just want to say that most kitchens are simply worth their money. Often they withstand use for 10 years or longer – and every day.

Sure, everyone wants to save money and get the cheapest offer possible. But this fear of possibly being taken advantage of takes on forms that I can no longer understand.

Of course, I’m not completely objective, as I have a family background in this, but the situation is a mystery to me. Whole books are written and are bestsellers. So what do the books say? That I should rather buy the appliances online? Our salespeople offer that from the beginning. And what else?
