There are 2 rows each with 6 holes vertically... and two thick holes vertically (estimated 10cm apart) and then there are two small holes vertically seen with (estimated about 15cm apart) a bit further back but still before the second row with the 6 vertical holes. I would take a photo... but how? ;)

I didn't look very closely. There are not four but 3 holes and I meant horizontal rows. By "vor" I mean when I am standing in front of the cabinet close to me, that is by the flap, not the back panel.

It's best to take a photo with a camera.

Yes, with the camera on the phone ;)

Picture 15 shows the side wall without the attachment... you can see what I mean there. From the front, two large holes vertically, then 6 holes vertically, then two thin holes vertically, then 6 holes a bit thicker again.... and when I fasten the thing as shown in the picture... I have four holes free at the top and not 3 as in the picture.

The customer advisor at Ikea on the phone says he is confident and that I should screw the small thick screw from the front into the thicker hole... but he cannot promise 100% that it will work.

I assume it is a standard perforated grid with a 32 mm spacing. If only 3 holes above remained free, then the fitting would have to be about 12 cm wide. If, as in your case, 4 holes remain free, then it would only be about 6 cm wide and that seems more realistic to me.

I did it the way you said... I now have four holes free instead of three, but the flap opens.

at least the assembly of the second cabinet was done much faster.

thank you very much. consider yourself hugged!

This wall cabinet looks good. It would also look great in my kitchen with the white tiles. On the internet at the IKEA page I can't find the VÄRDE wall cabinet 120x60. May I ask in which IKEA you bought the wall cabinets? My IKEA is 45 minutes away from me and I don't want to drive there for nothing. On the internet, I somehow can't see which IKEA still offers the wall cabinets.
