You can't cut anything off from the 10.45sqm room and the 40.55sqm is also needed for kitchen/dining/living room...
Too bad. But sometimes the floor plan allows it. At my girlfriend's place, the guest toilet and large bathroom (I even think it was 13 or 14sqm) were arranged right next to each other. In that case, it was possible to extend the guest toilet.

I would find it nice if the children's room and the bathroom were swapped. This would create more privacy for everyone. Then I would also find it perfect. Although I struggle with living on the ground floor. Always lived under the roof.

You will definitely manage it. We are also moving from the attic to the ground floor (Ortenau district) with a garden (important to us with a child). Ours is not as generously laid out (living room 21 sqm / kitchen less than 7 sqm)...
