I live on the 1st floor (and thus also on the top floor). I have much more light than the same apartment on the ground floor. I would do it again and again. If the balcony is big enough, it is not much different from a garden. I would rather not take a ground floor apartment. What is especially nice about my apartment is that I can always see the sky. The clouds passing by. I find that very beautiful and it gives a feeling of freedom. You hardly have that on the ground floor, if at all.

How big is your balcony?

My balcony is not very big. About 6m2. But it's enough for me. I can sit outside.

My mother had a balcony of 18m² for a long time. It was planted on different levels and looked great.

Ground floor .. I live on the ground floor ... a bit cooler in summer, and for outside of summer, the light and sun in the rooms mostly depend on how far other houses etc. are.
