But that's exactly the point... When I look at various little houses in the new development area, I just wonder if it really has to be that new garden furniture is already there as soon as you move in, or that the outdoor facilities are already completely done? Does the house really have to be fully furnished right away?
That develops gradually... But here we are again at the point of how one was raised or not. 80% of new builds are perfectly furnished right after construction. Does it have to be?
Here’s a thought: your neighbors might not be 23 and 29 but rather 33 and 39... so under the same conditions they have about 200,000 euros more equity and a smaller loan and also a lower installment... yes, and maybe at that age they just don’t want to look at mineral concrete gravel for five more years... besides, they’ve calculated that doing the outdoor facilities themselves saves 5,000 euros compared to the Romanian landscaping contractor due to private poor purchasing prices... for that, they might prefer to work a few overtime hours instead of straining their backs...
Personally, I find a 500K loan heavy, but you haven’t said anything about your situation... is the plot already there? Are you currently paying rent? Because depending on that, it might not make sense to wait to build and let’s be honest... a few years ago I was paying 850 euros warm in Munich for just 65 sqm... and my salary was significantly lower than yours... if both of you were living alone separately, you’d each be paying about 1200 or so and nobody would care about that...
But the urgent advice: settle the separation now... alone the early termination of such a large loan costs about 50,000 euros or so...
Who owns the land, hopefully both 50/50...
