I believe I paid significantly more than €3000 for water and sewer connections. You have two items here, one for the utility provider and the other for the necessary civil engineering. Just the shafts for wastewater and, in my case, also rainwater, cost more than €3000. Only the civil engineering—the utility provider charged separately. The actual basement is supposed to be included in the €400k for the house?

Regarding the plot: It is already fully developed; should there still be questions.

We planned the inspection shaft separately. €3,000 should be quite feasible. If you look online, €3,000 is a very safe estimate.

Of course, these items can sometimes cost more or less, that’s clear. We have already calculated the estimates everywhere up to the upper limit.

The actual basement is included in the €400k, exactly.

You can study even if you are not a career starter. Especially if the employer finances a part-time study program, it is common that a salary increase is agreed upon at the same time upon successful completion. On the other hand, you usually commit to a longer binding period with a repayment obligation in case of resignation.

Sorry for the off-topic.

I am currently completing my second degree alongside work, largely funded by the (former) employer. First-hand experience: neither I nor my 24 fellow students had a fixed salary increase agreed upon in advance; occasionally I know of one-time payments, but they hardly cover the cost of a semester fee. For me – as for many others – a higher position or promotion was pursued with the employer upon completion, but no one had the same position with more pay; why should they, salaries in the private sector are rarely paid based on titles. The salary increase always comes with a higher-level activity. "Just keep doing the same, we’ll pay you a flat 25% more net for that" usually doesn’t work due to classification regulations and job characteristics.

Well, that it also involves an expansion of the scope of duties is undisputed. There are indeed private companies that have a relatively fixed career plan. In those cases, rigid qualifications are required for certain hierarchy levels, but fixed salary increases are also planned. It is certainly not the rule, but it is also not the case to this extent in civil service careers. Just wanted to say that this does indeed exist in the private sector as well. Good luck with your second degree!

There is no works council and no union here. It is a small company. Compared to IGM, it would clearly be AT.
