Exactly. That's how we were raised and in the circle of friends/acquaintances it is basically not done the way we do it.

Money that isn’t there cannot be paid off prematurely – no matter how you were brought up. And whether there really is as much left over afterwards as you calculate in advance can, as Tassimat also wrote, only be seen when the house is built and fully furnished. I wouldn’t stick my neck out too far on that now either.

But that’s exactly the point... When I look at various little houses in the new development area, I wonder whether it really has to be that new garden furniture is already there when moving in, or the outdoor areas are already completely finished? Does the house really have to be completely furnished right away?

That develops bit by bit... But again, that comes down to how one was raised or not. 80% of new buildings are perfectly furnished immediately after construction. Does it have to be?

Well, if the money is there, I wouldn’t wait either - especially not in spring and during the [Corona-Krise].

Do you really think you will be the first builder who experiences no surprises regarding costs during construction? It's not just about furnishing or a carport... But we won't reopen the discussion about your construction and ancillary costs now.

Definitely. Of course, you calculate a buffer for unexpected costs, that is quite clear.

But as I said, that’s not what it’s about.

Everything fits. I also currently have enough information and am satisfied so far. I have also realized that you just have to do it.. Everyone also has different ideas somewhere etc. Every case is completely individual to consider, which is not even possible for an outsider, completely understandable.

So this thread can actually be closed.
