We plan a very fast complete finishing of the house because we simply do not want to live on a construction site. And one of the reasons for having a house for us is the garden for the children – but that is of no use to me if it is only finished two years later.
This is very much taken into account in the budget as well.

By the way, there are also people who claim that it is economically better not to make special repayments (due to the low interest) but to invest the money until the new financing and then possibly reintroduce it as equity.

True, but maybe you want to lay the irrigation before the lawn, divide the garden, and not have weeds on one side and lawn on the other, or other things.

There are many reasons why you'd want to have the garden finished fairly early.

I renovated my first house piece by piece. One thing I learned (about myself): what you don’t do right away, you often don’t do later either. And: never live on a construction site again. Damn, that was two things.
