I have also thought for a long time about giving up Sat and cable.
Our electrician, who is one of the more expensive in the region, listed all costs separately for us. The Sat outlets cost 96,- each and the system on the roof costs 639,- net in total.
Thus, a total of about 1500,- gross can be saved – it was not worth it to us. If we really switch over and no longer use Sat in a few years, then so be it.
